On 15 July 2026, the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host the international scientific and practical seminar “Partnership is crucial to participate in Horizon Europe projects”, dedicated to expanding international scientific cooperation and strengthening the integration of Kazakhstan's research community into the European Research Area (ERA).
Horizon Europe is the European Union's largest framework programme for research and innovation, providing researchers and research organizations with opportunities to participate in international collaborative research projects, establish consortia with leading international partners, and secure competitive grant funding.
The seminar will present the latest Horizon Europe funding opportunities, mechanisms for identifying and engaging international partners, practical experience of European institutions in building successful research consortia, as well as recommendations on preparing competitive project proposals.
Participants will gain practical insights into the opportunities offered by Horizon Europe, establish professional connections with international colleagues, and receive answers to their questions from Horizon Europe experts.
Given the significance of this event, the Academy invites faculty members, researchers, early-career scientists, doctoral candidates, master's students, and undergraduate students interested in participating in international research and innovation projects to attend.
